Sales of Australian made vehicles down 20% in 2013 due to high aussie dollar. Ford announced in May it will cease production in Australia by late 2016 after 90 years of business. Toyota is the largest seller of vehicles in the Australian market with a 18.7% market share in August 2013 and will keep production rolling thanks to the promise of government assistance.
