From Cycle 3 of America's Next Top Model, 19 year old Cassie Grisham suffered from a little bit of bulimia and anorexia. Much like Kendra in the novel Perfect, Cassie felt an overwhelimg amount of pressure to be the perfect model. She would do whatever it takes to be skinny and a great model, but was in denial that she had a problem. Both Cassie from America's Next Top Model and Kendra from the novel refused help, and believed they had everything under control. The pressures and expectations for models are brutal, and girls go to dangerous lengths to try to reach these standards.
