MADISON, WIS. – Timothy M. O’Shea, United States Attorney for the Western District of Wisconsin, announced that Everett Wescott, 32, of Beloit, Wisconsin was sentenced today by U.S. District Judge William M. Conley to 22½ years in federal prison for sexual exploitation of a child.

BOSTON – A former Assistant Chief Probation Officer for Lynn District Court was sentenced in federal court today in connection with child exploitation offenses.

An 11-count indictment was unsealed today in federal court in Brooklyn charging Brian Quinones, a paraprofessional at Midwood High School, with sexual exploitation of a child, distribution of child of pornography, cyberstalking, and related offenses. The charges relate to sexually explicit videos of a child that the defendant allegedly requested and received from a boy he met over the Internet, as well as other sexually explicit images and videos that the defendant possessed and distributed. 

A Pennsylvania man was sentenced today to 25 years in prison for manufacturing and attempting to manufacture child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

BOISE – Kobe Jace Mahoney, 22, of Seminole, Oklahoma, was sentenced to 336 months in federal prison for sexually exploiting a child by producing child pornography, U.S. Attorney Josh Hurwit announced today.

HARRISBURG—The United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania announced that Michael Rankin, age 36, of Lebanon, Pennsylvania, was sentenced on April 27, 2023, by U.S. District Court Judge Christopher C. Conner to 20 years’ imprisonment for sexually exploiting a child. 

BOSTON – A registered sex offender from Lawrence has been sentenced in federal court in Boston for sexually exploiting a 12-year-old girl.

Yesterday U.S. District Judge George L. Russell, III sentenced Travis Joseph Crawford, age 34, of Edgewood, Maryland, to 15 years in federal prison, followed by 25 years of supervised release, for sexual exploitation of a child to produce child pornography and for being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition. Judge Russell also ordered that, upon his release from prison, Crawford will be required to register as a sex offender in the places where he resides, where he is an employee, and where he is a student, under the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act (SORNA).

Orlando, Florida – U.S. District Judge Carlos E. Mendoza has sentenced Rafael Antonio Bracero-Navas (50, Kissimmee) to 40 years in federal prison for sexual exploitation of a child. The court also ordered Bracero-Navas to forfeit the cellphone that he had used to commit the offense. A jury had found Bracero-Navas guilty of seven counts of sexual exploitation of a child on March 4, 2022.
