Orlando, Florida – U.S. District Judge Paul G. Byron has sentenced Preston Percyville Cresser (22, Orlando) to 40 years in federal prison for production and possession of child sexual abuse material, to by followed by a lifetime of supervised release.

Jackson, Miss. – A Brandon resident was sentenced to serve a total of 50 years in federal prison for production of child pornography and possession of child pornography, announced U.S. Attorney Darren LaMarca, Special Agent in Charge Jermicha Fomby of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch.

DAVENPORT, IA – A Clinton man was sentenced Tuesday to 27 years in federal prison for production of child pornography and being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm.

United States Attorney Steven Russell announced that Matthew French, 36, of Garland, Nebraska, was sentenced on March 24, 2023, in Lincoln, Nebraska, by Senior United States Senior District Judge John M. Gerrard for two counts of producing child pornography.

A certified nursing assistant who worked at a Southern California group home for severely disabled patients has been sentenced to life in federal prison for committing multiple child exploitation crimes, including filming himself sexually abusing several severely disabled children at the group home facility, while he was working as their nighttime caretaker, the Justice Department announced today.

Tampa, Florida – U.S. District Judge Kathryn Mizelle has sentenced Michael Lumpkin (27, Land O’Lakes) to 52 years in federal prison for producing child sex abuse materials, followed by a lifetime of supervised release. Lumpkin had pleaded guilty on October 3, 2022.

ELKINS, WEST VIRGINIA – A Philippi, West Virginia man was sentenced to 50 years in prison today for using young children to produce sexually explicit videos, United States Attorney William Ihlenfeld announced. 

ALBANY, Ga. – A Lee County, Georgia, resident who admitted to producing child sexual assault material involving minor victims was sentenced to the statutory maximum prison term for his crimes. James Henry Norris, 38, of Leesburg, Georgia, was sentenced to serve a total of 720 months in prison (360 months for each count) to be followed by 25 years of supervised release by U.S. District Judge Louis Sands today after he pleaded guilty to two counts of production of child sexual assault material. In addition, Norris will have to register as a sex offender for life upon his release from federal prison. There is no parole.

BOISE – Troy Groene, 48, of Nampa, Idaho, was sentenced to 300 months in federal prison for sexual exploitation of a child, U.S. Attorney Josh Hurwit announced today.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Brian Wittke, 51, a previously convicted sex offender who shared child pornography online and produced child pornography of two children under age two, was sentenced to life in prison today, announced Dena J. King, U.S. Attorney for the Western District of North Carolina.

“The defendant will be incarcerated for many years and deservedly so because he is the most dangerous type of predator, a teacher who enjoys victimizing children.  Instead of using his training and skills as a teacher to enrich children, he used those skills to gain the trust of minors in order to sexually exploit them,” stated United States Attorney Peace.  

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – A Surprise, Arizona, man was sentenced this week to 30 years in prison and a lifetime of supervised release for production of child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

Tampa, Florida – U.S. District Judge Mary Scriven today sentenced Emrah Kuc (27, St. Petersburg) to 15 years in federal prison for production, distribution, receipt, and possession of child sexual abuse material, to be followed by 10 years of supervised release, and a requirement to register as a sex offender.
