November 28 – The four ‘home’ associations of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales have formally submitted their joint bid for the Women’s World Cup 2035 with a proposed 22 stadiums, 16 of them in England of which five are in London.
The joint bid is the only bid for 2035. The 2027 World Cup will be held in Brazil, while the USA is the sole bidder for 2031 which will be the first of the expanded 48-team format.

November 12 – Ahead of tonight’s launch of the Euro 2028 tournament to be co-hosted by England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales, UEFA has announced the renewal of its long-running Coca-Cola partnership, with the soft drinks firm becoming an official global sponsor of UEFA EURO 2028, and designated as the official non-alcoholic beverage sponsor.
In London’s Piccadilly tonight UEFA will officially launch Euro 2028 with an unveiling of the tournament branding and the federations in town to promote their co-operation.

October 17 – FIFA have sold more than one million tickets for the 2026 World Cup in the first presale draw, the world governing body said on Thursday.
In a statement, FIFA wrote that “fans from 212 countries and territories of residence have already purchased over one million tickets following the closure of the Visa Presale Draw sales phase, which was launched in mid-September.”
