NIKE has revealed the soccer uniforms of 14 federations, from the inspiring match jerseys to the empowering training kits. With styles changing and new technologies emerging between each tournament, the sportswear brand’s 2019 kits make a big impact on aesthetics, fit and sustainability. They will use plant-based dye from the NIKE plant color collection. Additionally, each shirt is made from at least 12 plastic bottlesthanks to their new material innovation.

"Shambala has announced they will go totally vehicle-free in 2020.

In a world’s first, all audience, crew and artists will be forbidden from bringing cars, lorries, vans and buses into the event. Car parks will be removed and temporary ‘no stopping’ orders will, as usual, prevent vehicles from parking on the road near the event"

The three-day Earth Hour Festival For Nature was built entirely on principles of reusability. This resulted in 3,500 plastic bottles saved with the use of water stations, and 10,000 reusable plates and bowls replacing single-use, disposable items. Food waste was collected for composting, and materials used in the physical set up will be reused.

"For the first time, single-use plastic drinks bottles will not be available to purchase at this year’s Glastonbury Festival. They will also no longer be supplied or available in any of the Festival’s backstage, production, catering and dressing room areas.

For those wishing to drink water – which we certainly do recommend! – we are, once again, encouraging all Festival-goers to use a reusable water bottle and refill it at any of the hundreds of free water taps around the Glastonbury site."
