Composer Michael John Mollo Talks about Working with Hans Zimmer and John Powell | Soundtrack | Scoop.it

Few composers get the chance to learn from the best. Even fewer get the opportunity twice.

For composer Michael John Mollo, working with Hans Zimmer and John Powell was no lucky break. Shortly after moving to Los Angeles, Michael's technical prowess and synth stylings put him on the map. He has since since contributed music to blockbuster films like How to Train Your DragonRio and Dr Suess' The Lorax.

Like a lot of musicians, Michael's passion is rooted in dreams of rock stardom. Even though a formal music education changed those plans, Michael is quickly garnering praise for his versatility and technical expertise as a composer.
