At the start of December, Shaun Shakespeare reminded me that it’s been a good few years since I’ve written about the End of Time estate, and suggested taking another look at Jacob, one of the regions within the estate, and which has traditionally stood a little aside from the rest of the regions there in terms of looks and presentation.

"I became aware of Jacob through a Flickr photo by Rig Torok . A pretty autumnal deciduous forest that is criss-crossed by a labyrinth with a garden wall. Everywhere you find one or the other small scenario that tempts you to take pictures. I explored this forest as a cat. That would also be very nice with a horse."

Her current rendition is that of a country village right at the beginning of the fall foliage season. . Shops and straight country lanes yield store signs and charming vistas.
