meterproject | Raspberry Pi | Scoop.it

In Make 11 there is a  great project/article from Tom Igoe that uses an Arduino, a Classic DC Volt Meter and some connecting code to display the local Air Quality Index. I found it to be terribly interesting in its simplicity and usefulness. After some research into price and complexity I found that this was within my reach. As a true hacker/maker does, I had to find a way to make it my own.

LPCNet: DSP-Boosted Neural Speech Synthesis

LPCNet: DSP-Boosted Neural Speech Synthesis | Raspberry Pi | Scoop.it

LPCNet: DSP-Boosted Neural Speech Synthesis   Introducing LPCNet This demo presents the LPCNet architecture that combines signal processing and deep learning to improve the efficiency of neural speech synthesis. Neural speech synthesis models like WaveNet have recently demonstrated impressive speech synthesis quality. Unfortunately, their computational complexity has made them hard to use in real-time, especially on phones. As was the case in the RNNoise project, one solution is to use a combination of deep learning and digital signal processing (DSP) techniques.
