Desde e-aprendizaje.es venimos insistiendo hace tiempo en la importancia de trabajar en el aula la construcción de redes que se extiendan más allá del aula y que ayuden a que nuestro alumnado establezca conexiones con profesionales que puedan ayudarles en su desarrollo profesional y, quien sabe, quizá algún día trabajar en un proyecto común.

 

También lo comentábamos con Mikel Agirregabiria la semana pasado en el Ikanos Workshop celebrado en Donostia, y lo natural que puede ser ampliar esa red que entra en el aula de forma analógica (los padres y madres, la cartera, el policía local, el barrendero,...) a través de las redes, para conocer y conectar con otros profesionales.


En este artículo, su autor Paul Moss (https://twitter.com/edmerger) dice que "aprender a crear, administrar y promover una red de aprendizaje profesional (PLN) se convertirá pronto, si no lo es ya, uno de las más necesarios y solicitadas habilidades para cualquier profesional, y como tal, debe convertirse en una característica destacada de cualquier plan de estudios de la escuela ."


Aunque del artículo se desprende que Moss, igual que otros muchos docentes, sigue identificando los conceptos de PLN y PLE (habla de Curación -de ideas y comunidades-, de gestión -de redes y de información-, y de socialización) está claro que es la parte del PLE que hace referencia a la construcción de redes y participación en comunidades una de las competencias críticas que debemos desarrollar en el aula.
