I do not wake up every morning to flat abs and perfect body, a lot of DAYS today being one of them I am bloated, hormonal and Extended. The Difference Now compared to who I use to be is I do not beat myself up think I need to be extreme or feel defeated about where I am. I chose to focus on where I am going instead. Fitness before was Just how I looked but this is not the only marker of success. My Health and Fitness is how I feel. I am proud of the fact I lift heavier, that I really get sick, I eat better and sleep like RockStar when I use to be filled with anxiety and panic and went almost 10 years without sleeping through the night and if I did sleep it's because I took a pill to get there. Now, lay my head on a pillow and done with a full grateful heart and a mindset that has grown from small belief to unlimited and that is progress I am proud of. Our fitness journey comes in and out of seasons and it's ok when we buckle down and when we allow room for freedom. What matters is this. Me Showing up and drenched in sweat pushing myself to be better then I was the Day before and granting Grace through the process. The journey is about Loving myself and body for where it is everyday and moving forward from there. " You cannot Hate your Body and Change your body At the same time " love the skin your in today. Eat well, Move, Breath and allow the rest to take care of itself. Your goals are worth your Discipline and Daily Effort. But your body deserves you to love her right where she is today.
