Whichever electronic html-text turns to a studying material with the help of Google Dictionary and other context tools of Chrome browser and its addons. In this case a parole word list of 1.4 million words is a very large dictionary and language resource.

Try these purified parole word lists and Google Dictionary; copypaste a list to this word picker, use Ctrl+A to choose the list. It may take some time to load.

I    This list contains about 300 000 Finnish words

II   The second list is about 500 000 words

III  The third one  is about 1400 000 words long and takes a minute or two to load

IV This list contains the most common 10000 words in Finnish. It comes from Verbix. There seems to be many religious words in it. It doesn´t come from the parole project. I also has commas and can be copypasted to the random picker. It is possible to take samples from the parole lists.

If you use the word search box, Ctrl+F, you may train your spelling if somebody says any word in the list and you write in the box.

You may ask questions like:

What does the word mean or is it a foreign word or an acronym? What´s the basic /dictionary form?  How should you write the word instead?What is the part of speech (sanaluokka)? What is the grammatical form and the ending? How do the words behave in sentences. Is there any image which describes the word? How do you spell the word? How do you divide the word in syllables? (Is important if you want to spell the word right.)

You can find the basic forms, parts of speech, endings (inflections), grammatical forms, meaning of the words, sentences, images, syllables, spelling, pronounciation...

Täällä on kolme Kotuksen Parole-frekvenssisanastoa valmiina sanakirjoiksi. Suurimmassa on liki 1,4 miljoonaa sanaa, pienimmässä n. 300000. Sanat ovat luonnollista kieltä eli voivat olla taivutusmuodoissakin, mikä tekee niistä kiehtovia probleemoita ja oppimateriaalia. Useimmille sanoille löytyy varmasti selitys käyttämällä verkosta ilmaiseksi löytyviä välineitä, jotka voidaan sitoa hiiren oikeaan korvaann eli kontekstihakuihin.

Lataa kontekstilisäosia ja sanastot muuttuvat opintomateriaaleiksi, jotka tarjoavat mm. ääntämyksen, kuvia, asiayhteyksiä, perusmuodon, kieliopillisen nimityksen, sanaluokan, oikeinkirjoituksen ja oikeinkirjoitusharjoituksia saneluna, sanakirjaselityksiä, esiintymisen lauseyhteyksissä. Klikkaussanakirjaa ja muita kontekstityökaluja voit käyttää kaikissa teksteissä, mm. tässä uutiskoosteessani ja kaikessa mediassa, johon skuupit linkittävät ts. missä tahansa sähköisessä html-tekstissä (tavallisissa verkkoteksteissä).

Jo Googlen sanakirjalla pärjää pitkälle, koska se tunnistaa taivutusmuotojakin. Joskus se toki erehtyy, koska pohjalla on Googlen Kääntäjä, joka tosin sanoissa on luotettavampi kuin lauseissa. Vaikka et osaisi maailmankieliä, More-linkistä pääset kääntäjään, josta löytyvät Googlen siinä käyttävät kielet. Klikkaussanakirjalla voi lukea kaikkia kieliä tarvitsematta säätää mitenkään. Suomalainen voi lukea esim. englantia ja sanakirja on aina käytössä nopeasti.
