Heaven Floress insight:
Given Spotifys current lawsuit with Eight Mile Style, they seem to be creating more and more updates and appealing features to their app. This gives people in Russia and the 12 other countries listed a chance to be heard is they want to become a Spotify music artist or for them to be up to date with current hits or have easy access to their personal preference of music. Ergo, being beneficial to anybody outside of the United States downloading the app who hadn't had the chance to download the app before. The article is based off facts and is a reliable resource.

i think this was a well calculated move by the spotify team knowing people will have all the time in the world to stream there is no better time in the history of mankind to upload a streaming service thats just my opinion. new music industry isn't my source of choice but a 4 star rating said otherwise.

For any artist who has been worried about upcoming touring dates due to this world pandemic I suggest doing a video based concert as well. Chance the rapper had done one and had raised more money than he did his last live concert. Given the factual basis of the article I don't see why it wouldn't be a reliable source. ANY celebrity struggling can easily take this advise to help them still be able to continue with their tour plans.
Max Lujan's curator insight, August 23, 6:54 PM
In order to raise awareness The Weekend live-streamed a musical performance via TikTok raising over $350,000.
I do believe the music industry can take advantage of this by streaming events theirselves. Charging a small fee they can stream performances to users with out having to use a lot of resources. Platforms like TikTok or even Twitch can allow consumers to interact with the performance.

The Weeknd is another artist and although he didn't breakout into film and other aspects that could keep him relevant in todays eyes, like many other artist does concerts giving interaction with their fanbase. this one in particular was for a cause and as much money was generated I'm sure that cause was all the bit worth it.

Being  someone who uses Spotify on the daily I love that this new feature is coming out! By them planning on enabling "A media playback system" it will allow Spotify music artist to upload music with ultimately a higher quality sound. I feel like this source is accurate as well because this isn't thirst time I've heard of this update nor do I have a reason to not trust the MusicBuisnessWorldWide website after using it as a source in the past. For anyone who uses Spotify on the daily like me and is also a Spotify music artist this Definitely some helpful information.
Jordan McCray's curator insight, October 16, 12:13 PM
I found this to be intriguing. Headphones that can  play sound from pretty much whichever direction you're facing. That is clever. It gives you that right up in your face type of feel, like you're a part of whatever you're listening to. This gives us a New ways of looking at music, like how can we give consumers that real life sort of feel when they listen to our music. I think Spotify just opened doors to that pondering question.

Musical are not only making a comeback after this worldly pandemic but they are being more e and more noticed by the world. "Independent music artists have a 78% growth rate from 2015 which makes independant artists the fastest growing segment of the recorded music market" that's not only a fact stated on my resource followed by evidence of said fact but also proof of a reliable resource. To any independent music artist this article is extremely helpful.

As Pres. Trump closes in on TikTok’s parent company ByteDance to sell and take legal action, TikTok and The Weeknd team together to create a VR concert of performances live using a avatar and effects. The social event reached more than 1.3 billion video views, recorded 275,000 views during performances and raised $350,000 for the Equal Justice Initiative social organization.

Not only did it show that it’s a company to keep but also what VR has yet to show us.
