I am happy for daddy yankee, as someone who grew up listening to his music, this is a big achievement for him. The source is reliable it was written by Murray Stassen posted on September 10, located on the music business worldwide website . This article shows that no matter how long it takes if you put enough work into what you love to do, you can make it.
Shawn Fox Jr's curator insight, September 17, 10:42 PM
my opinion on this article is that the partnership is going to be difficult. Daddy yankee is a big time latin music star who has had many partnerships but has only given partners a small oppurtunity. The new music and new partnerships always ahve a way of getting the artist into expanding their music into other palces!

It's a whole different feeling and rhythm, With all the talent that has been seen, latin music is only going to grow more. This article was written by Ed Christmas posted on July 15 2020 on the billboard website. This article is important because it shows how much one artist can do for a genre of music.

I believe Bad Bunny is deserving for being the leader in the Latin Music because of his hard work through the charts. This is relevant to how an artist can help the growth of different types of genres.

I think stem music distribution is doing the right thing, which is taking care of artists royalties. Artist lose tons of money and royalties every year to labels and contracts, they need people like STEM MUSIC. This article was written on the Forbes website which is a very high class company, also a very reliable source. This article is a good article for artist who are having problems with getting their royalties in the industry, it shows hat there people out there willing to help.
Sean M Bey's curator insight, September 20, 3:50 PM
I really like how they take care of their artist by making sure they get the royalties they deserve
QueenAngeline Rodriguez's curator insight, September 21, 10:19 PM
Stem Music has raised over $100 million paying royalties to indie artists and also fighting equality and justice for artists in the music industry. Stem Music is gaining support in the industry and social justice platforms.

Independent artistry is gaining more support in the industry as the years go on.
Day Collins's curator insight, October 19, 10:04 PM
I think this article is one of the most important within the music industry to support the injustices of human beings. Standing on its word and advocacy to support independent artist and other racial injustice issues within the industry including discrimination's and other like topics that raise awareness to the issues in the forefronts of our society today. I like the fact this platform raises royalties for artist and does not hesitate to disburse their coins as they work hard on their crafts and it matters that they be recognized for it, even if local or independent etc...

I included this article to be the pinnacle in the idea of Technology in the Audio Production/Music business. It sounds like sci-fi, yet here it is. Elon Musk as well, no surprise there as he is certainly a futurist. I think it was well written and thought-provoking.

Though not recognized for any journalism awards or accolades, the credibility of this source seems viable to me using the evaluation guide. I would say this is a great resource for music-related news.
Robert Andrade's curator insight, July 26, 7:12 PM
I think streaming music directly into your brain would be a hard thing to accept. I’m not saying it will never happen, but it’s definitely something to get used to. Honestly I’m not sure if this would help the music industry. It might raise the amount consumed but it just might make another difficult issue to be resolved when it comes to the streaming numbers and how to correctly pay the artists. The source seams very trust worthy. There’s many direct quotes and the writer of the articles is names and was their accusation is. It doesn’t take as side at all and just states facts and quotes from Musk himself. Id say that this might be something that music industry people would get good facts from but i guess it just depends on the person. Some people would just disregard this and some might see this as something to keep an eye on for the future.
