As a person that sees myself as an investor in the music industry it is nice to see the numbers and the estimated value someone puts in the labels that are parent companies. Tim Ingham did a good job as an author bring light to the topic.

Music rightsholders call for ‘urgent’ changes to Article 13 - Music Ally

Music rightsholders call for ‘urgent’ changes to Article 13 - Music Ally | Music producer | Scoop.it
The music industry was celebrating on 12 September 2018 when the European Parliament voted (by 438 votes to 226) to pass the Article 13 section of the proposed new European Copyright Directive. The wording of the legislation seemed to back the position taken by the music industry over the liability of platforms like YouTube for copyright-infringing uploads.

Meghan Thunderstix Babbs insight:
I think the content is very interesting and very inciteful.
I believe the reliability of the article is genuine.
I don’t think it is a major informational resource for audio professionals due to the lack of information about who wrote it and the dates in which it was published.
Robert Cordell's curator insight, May 26, 2019 11:27 PM
I feel all parties need to be considered her. youtube can't be expected to watch 50 million plus accounts for uploads especially if the users aren't making money off the copyrighted material. but creators also need to get paid so companies like Spotify and say google play pay for usage rights to stream songs at least that is my understanding.
Matthew A. Parker's curator insight, June 22, 2019 4:37 PM
This was a very insightful article.  It simply describes the purpose and mission of the Article 13.  It's directive is to minimize all copyright infringement and ensure all copyright owners get paid.

This article's source has evolved over the years.  Clients include record labels and platforms such as Spotify, Amazon, Facebook and Google.

Musically is an informational resource for the audio industry.  It keeps the music industry abreast upon any copyright infringements that may apply to them.  It also helps collects the music royalty for its clients.

In my opinion the article really shows what you can accomplish in  three years with drive and determination. Jody Gerson is a true example of a hard worker. What makes it more inspiring is that she's a woman making history in a male dominated world and as a man that is great to see.
The author of this article name is Tim Ingham. He is the founder and publisher of Music Business Worldwide, which has serviced the global industry with new, analysis and jobs since 2015. he does really does have any contact information on the web but i've found his twitter which is (@InghamTim). The article he wrote about Jody Gerson I don't think this article is meant to be about any issues or to take sides. It's not to sell a product or service. It's also not meant to persuade anyones thoughts or beliefs. The article isn't even for entertainment just factual information.
The article  has factual evidence because the links in the article gives you more insight on whats being said. The sources appear to be reputable and accurate. Vivendi is quoted and listed as Universal's French owner. This was written February 14th, 2019. The site was published Worldwide November 23rd, 1993 and Bizness April 18th, 2011. It is no record of when the last update was. I didn't find any old links while on this site.

In my opinion, this article was very informative as it talks about a new app for making music and how their making another app for artist to listen to other artist music that was made in the first app. This article is reliable as it has an author named Murray Stassen on July 10, 2019. This is a major source of informational resource for the audio industry professionals as it talks about an app to create music and an app to listen to other artists.
StephenRobinson's curator insight, February 23, 11:51 PM
Murray Stassen wrote about Tim Exile about artist and a program creator. This is good for the music industry it lets you know if you have a product people will invest and you can multiple investors.
