Dolby Atmos is one of the most used sources to this day for music! They also have Dolby Atmos sound that comes standard with DVD players and music radios. You can even use it on old MP3 Players!
Alejandro Suarez's curator insight, November 15, 12:10 PM
With the ever expanding reputation of the indie musician this article outlines more on the privileges that come with Avidplay and the certain tools now available to Indie Artists worldwide. It's really crazy to believe that self-made DIY artists are now creating fame and reputation close to what signed label artists have in their own day. The competition is fierce and Musicbusinessworldwide (a fairly important site yet not one with much authority) outlines the future of streaming for these types of artists. This is purely informational for artists.

SoundExchange, Recording Academy & More Launch 'Fair Trade' Campaign to Pay Creators Abroad: Exclusive

SoundExchange, Recording Academy & More Launch 'Fair Trade' Campaign to Pay Creators Abroad: Exclusive | Music industry news | Scoop.it
SoundExchange estimates that U.S. creators are globally losing out on roughly $330 million in royalties annually, particularly with respect to royalties for traditional broadcasts, public performances and some digital uses.

QueenAngeline Rodriguezs insight:
As the world changes and technology is expanding, music industries are looking into how they can estimate artists and contributors pay to each use. International media industry has its own organization and American media artists are losing a lot of income because they are not being paid their credit for their work across nations. Sound Exchange is introducing Fair trade to unite international marketing and artists so everyone can receive their credit stipulations.

LA's Music-Tech Startups Are Poised to Reshape the Industry. | Music industry news | Scoop.it
The pandemic has quieted the music industry, but a handful of Los Angeles-based tech startups are poised to keep up the melody — providing musicians everything from socially-distanced collaborative recording to back-office accounting — and bring new energy and innovation to an industry in need.

QueenAngeline Rodriguezs insight:
As Pres. Trump closes in on TikTok’s parent company ByteDance to sell and take legal action, TikTok and The Weeknd team together to create a VR concert of performances live using a avatar and effects. The social event reached more than 1.3 billion video views, recorded 275,000 views during performances and raised $350,000 for the Equal Justice Initiative social organization.

Not only did it show that it’s a company to keep but also what VR has yet to show us.
Heaven Flores's curator insight, October 18, 7:36 PM
Musical are not only making a comeback after this worldly pandemic but they are being more e and more noticed by the world. "Independent music artists have a 78% growth rate from 2015 which makes independant artists the fastest growing segment of the recorded music market" that's not only a fact stated on my resource followed by evidence of said fact but also proof of a reliable resource. To any independent music artist this article is extremely helpful.

QueenAngeline Rodriguezs insight:
Stem Music has raised over $100 million paying royalties to indie artists and also fighting equality and justice for artists in the music industry. Stem Music is gaining support in the industry and social justice platforms.

Independent artistry is gaining more support in the industry as the years go on.
Day Collins's curator insight, October 19, 10:04 PM
I think this article is one of the most important within the music industry to support the injustices of human beings. Standing on its word and advocacy to support independent artist and other racial injustice issues within the industry including discrimination's and other like topics that raise awareness to the issues in the forefronts of our society today. I like the fact this platform raises royalties for artist and does not hesitate to disburse their coins as they work hard on their crafts and it matters that they be recognized for it, even if local or independent etc...
Edward Brown's curator insight, November 10, 8:47 PM
Social media is still keeping the independent artist with great royalties.
G Braynt Salgado's curator insight, November 15, 11:56 PM
Stem really focuses on providing opportunities in the music industry for independent artists as well as supporting huge movements such as BLM and others.

The fact this article is on Forbes, aka one of the most successful and popular platforms of financial information, should say it all.

I'm sure artists know to trust this website for information that is accurate and up to date.
