Gov. Ron DeSantis’ tourism oversight district wants to end a program that provides more than $8 million to hire off-duty law enforcement to bolster security at Disney World and surrounding properties. But two Disney-controlled cities are saying no to that request, setting up another clash between the entertainment giant and the governor-appointed Central Florida Tourism Oversight District.
