Eden Project: the rooftop garden that saved lives #London #Southbank

The inspiring story of the rooftop garden created by ex-prisoners and homeless individuals, in association with the Eden Project, for the Southbank Centre's celebration of Festival of Britain in the summer of 2011. I visited at the weekend and the garden is simply stunning. A garden planted by the most amazing people.

London: Sand Sculpture on South Bank of River Thames

On the south bank of the River Thames, in the shadow of the OXO Tower, a sole artist works on a magnificent sand sculpture...
Ursula O'Reilly Traynor's insight:
Sand Sculptures are always a highlight along the riverside walk along the Southbank. if you time it right, there will be someone beavering away on the beach below, They do love you when you throw down some coins. Aim for the bucket..
