8+ Creative Ways to Use to Old Library Cards (and the iPad)

8+ Creative Ways to Use to Old Library Cards (and the iPad) | iPad Lessons | Scoop.it

I love blending analog and digital. And I love literacy and writing. Call me a word nerd. So when I got the idea to save and scan all of these library cards and use them for creative writing activities... well I fell deep down the rabbit hole. As these are now digital, they can be used in collages, Thinglinked, be the springboard for a Book Creator project, be annotated in Notability, or even included in an online writer's notebook (ala Google Docs). Enjoy the possibilities!

TechChef » How Do You Teach Students to Be Wellness Stewards?

TechChef » How Do You Teach Students to Be Wellness Stewards? | iPad Lessons | Scoop.it

As an Educational Technologist, I have found that there is a greater and greater need to teach students not only technical skills (and iPad Lessons) but soft skills like organization and goal-setting so I have started working on a series of professional development sessions targeted at meeting students needs. The latest is "Bonkers for Bullet Journals" which I delivered to MS students a few weeks ago.

I hope you will give me some leniency with this (as it is not an actual iPad Lesson) and I am super curious to know if there are other people and districts experiencing this similar trend... and incorporating and teaching strategies for wellness, organization, planning, and note-taking that are not always digital in nature...
