The fact that companies spending money on websites which are efficient and effective for the consumers is remarkable. it makes a consumer's life easier. Social Media is definitely enhancing the communication process.

This article raises some good points, a critical part of the IMC model is that it is based on being audience-driven in order to build brand equity. The issue on how companies are spending money on both normal and mobile websites is a great point and I completely agree that in order to be more efficient and effective it is important to integrate one website that is accessible as both normal and mobile websites. As the IMC model is now being seen as more of a management process rather than a communications process, more information on how to engage consumers is being implemented, in which an example of this is via social media.
