I will be sure to save a copy of this article for a reference to some fantastic ICT ideas for the classroom and beyond. Many of these practices are becoming common place in many schools and institutions of higher learning now, and the value of the practices are high. As the computer is only as smart as its programer and user, we can say that the potential here is almost unlimited. Thank you for the examples of how to use ICT to engage the students.

A fantastic article explaining many ways to incorporate ICT into Australian Geography classrooms. The article provides a number of examples and tips to be used by Geography teachers teaching students from a number of different year levels.

I found Teaching Geography to be a very resourceful page, it provides relevant information and resources for the high school teacher to use. The rich in depth video cases following geographers in the field give the students an understanding as to how geography applies to them.

As well as giving ideas on how to teach geography to your class, teachers can pick up some valuable information on different topics which will help them better understand what they are teaching about. Not just in geography, but in every other subject out there, it is vital that you are able to hold the interest of your students during class, by effectively using different teaching strategies. This article shows the importance of different strategies, and I think, how students may prefer certain ones to others. This article and others like these will be very beneficial for me when I am out on prac and when I eventually do become a teacher.

This page is full of resources! This shows you new ways in which you can teach and also help you as a teacher to learn more about what you are teaching. The more you know, the easier it will be to teach your students and to help them when they don't understand. Watching to geographers working in the field also shows students how geography could be relevant to them.

When reading this article, I was amazed at how simple yet enlightening the "formula" for resilience is. Although the ABC model seems obvious, a lot of people remain oblivious to the fact that they themselves are in control of the consequences of adversity. It is all about one's mind-set! In between adversity lies "belief". This is why two people may respond completely differently to the exact same challenge. In my opinion, the ABC model is an amazing teaching tool that should, by all means, be used in school (whether directly or indirectly). After reading this article, I definitely want to tell others about this formula.

How true this article is, how students can react differently to the same result. Its a good idea to remember this when teaching but we should be able to teach the ABCs of resilliance. This article puts it in a simple way.

This was a very interesting article. I would recommend it to any teacher or teacher in training. This article is right, we don’t know what external factors that are influencing students to under achieve. Sometime it can take one person (like a teacher) to a make a positive difference in a student life. This can make a huge difference to that student by helping them to deal with problems in a realistic way.
