Council Rock North Is An ADL-Designated 'No Place For Hate' | Anti Discrimination |

The Anti-Defamation League recently recognized more than 30 schools in southeastern Pennsylvania, South Jersey, and Delaware in its "No Place for Hate" program as designated "No Places for Hate."

The ADL recently held the third annual No Place for Hate Designation Celebration at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.

Among the numerous schools to earn the designation was Council Rock North.

CR North and the other schools were honored for their commitment to making their learning communities more respectful and inclusive.

To earn the No Place for Hate designation, each school planned and executed at least three anti-bias or anti-bullying projects during the school year.

Every project was required to have a demonstrable impact on the entire school community, and to address at least one No Place for Hate theme:

  • celebrating diversity
  • promoting respect for differences, or
  • challenging bias or bullying

The No Place for Hate designations are part of ADL's national program, which has grown to include more than 1,600 schools across the United States. Regional Schools have pointed to the impact of the program on school climate.
