HIV Among Women

Though HIV diagnoses among women have declined sharply in recent years, the need for HIV prevention, AIDS awareness,  HIV testing and delivery of effective behavioral interventions.

Sarah Fischer's curator insight, December 13, 2022 10:24 AM
Interesting website of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. Once again, very well done and easy to use. I read the fact sheet about HIV among women statistical data. The sheet is conceived to read easily and understand correctly the informations. They used multiples graphs and images in order to pop at the eyes of the reader. It informs us about the data collected in 2019 in a very simple way.
I went on the website and saw many other documents like this one about other subjects (still about HIV and prevention of course) and found them also understandable and reachable.

The CHARE Project team was delighted to attend the United States Conference on AIDS (USCA), the largest HIV/AIDS-related conference in the United States. The conference offered numerous opportunities for information-sharing; product reviews; resources; and networking related to transmission, prevention, treatment and research related to HIV and AIDS in the USA. It was truly a delight that Sally S. Cherry, MT(ASCP), creator and manager of CHAREproject joined several colleagues from HIV.gov (formerly known as AIDS.gov) for a Facebook Live discussion about digital tools including social media. Thumbs up to NMAC and the entire #USCA2017 team!
