The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of three unexpected earnings indicators on earnings revisions, obtained from a sample of companies' financial statements. These are abnormal change in profit margins (ABPM), abnormal sales growth (ABG), and abnormal NOA growth (ABNOAG).
