We just knew it was going to be a fantastic sunset tonight in Aberavon. The weather had be brilliant all day, and as it got closer to the evening, there was only one thing to do... Go out with the camera! I thought I would use this opportunity to take some photographs with two new…
The Fujifilm XF 70-300mm F4-5.6 is a versatile zoom lens that works with 1.4x and 2x teleconverters. In our Fujifilm review we evaluate sharpness, bokeh, stabilizaiton, close-up performance and more.
The Fujinon XF 18mm f/2 R lens is the strange case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. This is a lens that I want to love because of its small size and very useful focal-length, but I don't love it because its way overpriced and has a disappointing focus system. I'm getting a little ahead…

[update : now compatible with Android 9] As some of you may have noticed, I have an interest in recipes that can be used on Fujifilm X series cameras to produce SOOC Jpep images (see my database).
Ritchie is one of the most prolific publishers of recipes of this type, and his recipes are of high quality.
To facilitate the use of the recipes he publishes, Ritchies released an iOS application a few months ago.
Here is now the Android version of the application..
In the age of the cellphone even a faux rangefinder with a 35mm equivalent lens can lay claim to being a fine still life camera. I'm embarrassed because I avoided using a Fuji X100 series camera for a long time and then, once I got an X100V in my hands I just can't seem to let go. I'm using it in the streets, like everyone else, but I don't always grab for bigger, more expensive cameras when I want a nice still life. If it's not a "macro" shot I'm just as likely to grab one of the X100V's and blaze away. Handheld. Without even looking.
Sometime last year, I am not sure when since last year has now blended into about three hundred near identical COVID lockdown days, I came across a photography competition. I rarely enter competitions, but this once caught my eye as it is was being run by the lovely people at Fujifilm and there was

Here are some of the camera settings I turn off. Yes, I cheated with some. They were "changed" not "off." But this is free content, man. Don't complain.
Earlier today we reported that Fujifilm has released these firmware updates for X100V, X-Pro3, X-T30 and XC16-50mmII. The updates add functionalities to your cameras, hence Fujifilm released also New Features Guides, that I think you should not miss to check…

The Fuji X Weekly — Film Recipes App for Android was released yesterday, and I've been overwhelmed by the feedback (this is not a complaint). The number one message I've received is: why is my device not compatible? The Fuji X Weekly app requires Android 10 or newer, so if your operating system is Android…
