Test Terrain: Fuji X-E2 | Darth's Blog

Test Terrain: Fuji X-E2 | Darth's Blog | Fujifilm X Series APS C sensor camera | Scoop.it

MGA J-Street – Mark G. Adams | Fujifilm X Series APS C sensor camera | Scoop.it
MGA J-Street is based on Japanese low fidelity Street shooting in Black & White with heavy noise and deep contrasts. My take on it works very well in many situations, and to get the real effect, add even more noise in post production! It's supposed to be gritty, you supposed to miss focus, you supposed…

Fujifilm and Video

Fujifilm and Video | Fujifilm X Series APS C sensor camera | Scoop.it

I moved from Canon to Fujifilm at the end of the year 2017 and used it mainly for studio an editorial work. I first started experimenting with filming at the beginning of 2018. Creating video clips was part of my business plan when I went full time photographer back in 2013. At that time, I researched a bit and concluded that I would need to invest into a complete separate gear setup only for filming. At that time, it was financially too much of a risk, so I put it on ice.

MGA Leica-Like / OneCameraOneLens by Mark G Adams

MGA Leica-Like / OneCameraOneLens by Mark G Adams | Fujifilm X Series APS C sensor camera | Scoop.it

MGA Leica-Like is based on the output of Leica digital cameras and phones. Leica camera's have a number of colour profiles, but this one I feel matches the overall feel of the Leica colours, with deeper blacks, and a subtle amount of red and blue colour shift. This is an ideal complement film profile to…

Fujifilm X100V Hack: Turn Daylight Into Blue Hour

Fujifilm X100V Hack: Turn Daylight Into Blue Hour | Fujifilm X Series APS C sensor camera | Scoop.it
Duskflower - Bountiful, UT - Fujifilm X100V - captured during daylight. I love photographing during the "blue hour" of dusk and dawn. The time right before sunrise and just after sunset, called twilight, is great for photography. While it's called the blue hour, twilight is technically closer to an hour-and-a-half, but for practical photographic purposes,…

...

This isn’t a film simulation recipe, so I didn’t strictly stick with one set of settings, but instead looked at each exposure individually. Still, all of my faux blue hour pictures had similar settings, and I didn’t stray very far from it.

Review: Fujifilm X100V

Review: Fujifilm X100V | Fujifilm X Series APS C sensor camera | Scoop.it

...I am a wedding and portrait photographer living in Germany and I use Canon full frame cameras most of the time. ...

The Leica would be too expensive as a „just for fun“ camera, the Sony I felt was not inspirational enough for me to use it, the Ricoh GR probably would be a great choice very different to my Canon gear and then there was the Fuji – right away it felt like the best of all worlds. Not too expensive, small and stylish, great AF, f/2 open aperture for blurry backgrounds, APSC sized sensor for great image quality, you name it.
