New Mexico State Fair with the Fuji Xpro1 | Roberto Rosales | fuji XPro1 and the 35mm F1.4 |

The Fuji XPRO 1 just keeps growing on me. This little camera when paired with the 35mm f/1.4 fujinon lens can produce great image quality. This morning I was the New Mexico State Fair before 8 o’clock to take advantage of the beautiful light here in New Mexico and the camera performed like a gem. I know most folks complain about the slow auto focus and it’s true it’s not very fast but just wait til the latest firmware update comes out on Tuesday, it will dramatically improve the autofocus and processing speed. Even then, I don’t plan on shooting a football game with this camera. The greatest advantage to shooting with this camera is not technical but the ability to blend in and not scream to the world you’re a journalist. Most subjects on this looked at me as if I was anybody shooting with an iphone. I want to but a wider lens like the 18mm f/2. Stay tune for more images from this upcoming week.
