She’s been with me to race circuits, pit lanes and around the world twice, she’s been on road trips, dog walks, hikes camping and commercial shoots. She’s seen the Grand Canyon, Mount Fuji, the streets of Sao Paulo, Europe and the wilds of Scotland. This was the camera that turned the DSLR tide for me. I started with the 18mm f2 and the 35mm f1.4 and that was all until I was tempted by the flirty X-T1 and then it became a full blown love affair all over again with the joys of using a camera and the pursuit of photographic perfection.
In this video I take a look at Fuji’s X-Raw Studio application for converting Fuji Raw files using a connected X-Pro 2 to process the files. --More Link

When I first saw X-E1; i didn’t like it especially when its place beside the X-pro1. It’s the design of the camera that didn’t stir my emotions. Through the years with X-E2 and the X-E2s; I think my encounter with these cameras is less than 10 minutes all together! There are even rumors that Fujifilm might axe the X-E line altogether; which I am not surprise. Now you know I am not a fan. Having said all that; X-E fans out there; I think Fujifilm may have made the ultimate X-E camera! So what is new with X-E3. If you like the form of X70 for its street photography capability and have always wish somehow it has interchangeable lens feature, X-E3 may be your answer. Or you could say that X-E3 is a less handsome baby brother of X-Pro2.
Fujifilm has just announced its new Fujinon XF 80mm f/2.8 R LM OIS WR Macro lens, the first X Series lens to offer 1.0x magnification. The lens has a focal
This photography project is directly inspired by my usage of the Fujifilm X-Pro2 camera and the need to return to the basics of photography in all its simplicity. By using the equipment, as well as the gestures, I can create this type of feeling of proximity with my subjects.

The Fujifilm X70 is a marvellous camera and in this little video, I discuss why I like it, how I use it and show some images shot with my X70. As a weddin
It's probably no secret I like my super-high speed 35mm film looks. I love the way pushed TRI-X looks, I especially loved the way Kodak TMAX3200P — aka TMZ looked when it was available. I'm down to my last couple rolls that are not aging well which is no surprise

Since the dawn of digital I've been seeking a place I could call home in some things I really liked about the gear and the process I already had with film. I thought to myself, any day now, any day, we'll have cameras the size we have had for decades
For, oh, about 2 years now, every time we do a lens teardown I get emails from Fuji shooters asking me to tear down one of their lenses. There are several reasons we haven't. For one thing, we have far fewer copies of those lenses so there is less reason to work on them. Since [...]
rwboyer's insight:
This should make all us Fuji shooters feel even EXTRA superior ;-)
The death of digital photography | As camera makers struggle to innovate, consumers are finding little need to upgrade. The market is slowing to the point of inertia – manufacturers need to take a leftfield approach to stay competitive
NSFW Obviously A quick follow-up from my old gear is still fine post a week or so ago. Specifically to summarize a few thoughts about the 18-55mm XF zoom that came to mind while exchanging emails with a reader of the referenced post that's wasn't/isn't enamored with the Fuji

I did not choose to become a photojournalist because I’m a fan of cameras. What I want to do is tell stories, be close to them the moment they are happening – stories that are important to others or myself. In my eyes, the camera is a tool that helps me record what I see and experience for these others and I. For this kind of work, the camera has to work intuitively. It has to be easy to use, reliable and has to meet the technical specifications I need for my type of photography. Moreover, working with it has to be fun for me – especially on long days of taking pictures. Hence, its weight must be pain free; the technology has to be straightforward so it won’t drive me nuts. Last, but not least, it would be unacceptable to have a camera lens and shutter noises that destroy the situations I am trying to capture. That’s why my favorite camera is the FUJIFILM X-Pro2.
Are there different kinds of photo gear junkies? Sure. I myself am a type "R" gear head. What's that? Well I have a bunch of classifications, you can make your own notations up for your own observations. Without going thru the list of all the types and designations I've observed
In this guest post, wedding photographer Dominique Shaw discusses how the Fuji X-Pro2 helped to revolutionise her style of shooting and make her creative concepts a reality.
We all know what GAS is. Gear Acquisition Syndrome. Most address this a a detriment to your character and work and you are to feel inefficient if you have GAS. You are maybe hiding behind your gear because you don’t have it enough to make good photos. You are to feel that if you get THAT camera or THAT lens, all will be well in the world. Damn right your right. Go for it. I do and stand proud to say I am a Gas-aholic, well… tums usually cures my gas but I have no issues acquiring new gear if I feel it will open me up some.

A lot has been said about Capture One's latest update and the improvements that it has brought to Fujifilm X series photographers who have decided to jump ship
Switching systems is a huge decision, but I'm now a Fujifilm X-System shooter (X-T2 & X100F) and I'm probably more surprised than you. Here's my reasoning!
Sorry for all the strobe stuff of late or for those that do strobe stuff I guess that's fine. In any case, I figured I'd answer an email question regarding the B2. It went something like this… Why the B2 instead of the B1 or for that matter the
I've alluded and outright declared a bit of a personal psychological struggle of late. Specifically adding a bit of control to things related to these projects I talk about here. In summary I started with the Fuji X cameras specifically to give up control in various ways. Specifically the start
