University part of first city social science festival

Events including an exhibition celebrating “lapsed clubbers”, an investigation into the real lives of young people in the city, walking tours and film screenings will be part of the first dedicated Manchester strand of the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) Festival of Social Science.

To date, enterprise policy has not been well integrated with childcare and maternity policies which simply don’t meet the needs of women wanting to launch a business. - That's the UK, but the US is no better.
