The Institute for Fiscal Studies published a ground-breaking report on 29th September: The economic circumstances of different generations: the latest picture.  Its key finding was that people born in the early 1980s, now in their early 30s, have average (median) net household wealth of £27,000 per adult – including housing, financial and private pension wealth.
