I love where this author makes the comment about perhaps "bland textbooks" may have associated boredom with reading (paraphrasing). There is no better argument for a well-funded, professionally staff library where informational texts can be carefully curated to cover any curriculum in a way that's engaging and ENCOURAGES reading!
