Il a pour objectif de fournir des éléments pour l’action permettant de construire des stratégies locales de résilience.
Nul ne conteste qu’il faut rendre nos territoires résilients face au réchauffement de l’atmosphère et aux autres dangers liés aux conséquences des activités humaines. Il s’agit d’assurer notre avenir avec un climat instable et des ressources en quantité décroissante, deux menaces capables de déstabiliser nombre d’organisations humaines, à commencer par les collectivités locales. Mais comment faire ? Par quoi commencer ? Comment mobiliser efficacement l’ensemble des acteurs d’un territoire pour refonder un avenir commun, ici et maintenant ?
La Fabrique des transitions est une alliance de territoires et d’acteurs engagés dans les transitions écologiques. Elle est née de la mutualisation d’expériences pilotes et développe une ingénierie de la conduite du changement systémique. Elle accompagne les territoires et les acteurs en mouvement dans leur montée en compétence, leurs capacités à porter et piloter la transition.

A new framework will foster collaboration between schools and the Senate Department for Education, Youth and Family for the adoption of climate change projects and ideas
On 27 August, Berlin announced it will open the way for schoolchildren to participate in the fight against climate change. This will take the form of ‘climate agreements’ where students can submit their climate protection ideas and projects to an advisory board in the Senate Department of Education, Youth and Family. The Senate Department will then implement the projects.

The main message I brought was that cities should be included in global policymaking on climate and the upcoming climate summits. Without cities, it will be impossible to tackle global warming. Moreover, cities want to lead the way. They facilitate innovation and have the capacity to invest on a large scale in clean mobility, green construction and creating a sustainable energy supply.
Ceasing fossil fuel consumption is a huge lift, but it isn’t enough to save the planet. We need to think much, much bigger: toward global solutions that can capture excess carbon in the atmosphere and begin repairing the deep damage we’ve done to the planet.

Kate Connolly writes on The Guardian website about the call of the new German climate minister for a threefold increase in the speed with which carbon dioxide emissions are reduced. The minister, Robert Habeck, warned Germany was currently “dramatically behind” in its aim to achieve a goal for 80% of energy to come from renewable sources by 2030, as well as for a 65% reduction in greenhouse gases compared with 1990 levels, and to become climate neutral by 2045. Currently about 42% of energy in Germany comes from renewables.

Plus que jamais, il est clair que l'action – ou l'inaction – des États est décisive en la matière. S'il est courant de lire des analyses sur les conséquences géopolitiques du réchauffement climatique – pensons par exemple aux migrations climatiques qui ne manqueront pas d'engendrer des crises internationales –, ne faudrait-il pas alors inverser l'ordre des termes : n'est-ce pas finalement la géopolitique qui détermine le changement climatique ?
