Online course offerings in the United States have expanded. In both K12 and higher education options for students to take whole courses, blended and—in some places—entire degree programs online are more prevalent than ever.

More students are taking online classes at my community college, too, even though enrollment numbers have stayed the same..if there's a choice, more are choosing online courses..

I've taken many classes (short) online to find out more about a topic, but also to find out how other instructors teach a topic-especially if it's a topic I teach or want to teach in the future...I don't see how you could teach online without first taking an online course.. Yikes!
