I like Snagit vs Jing, since I like the screen shot markup better and you can create videos you can upload to YouTube (any length vs 5 min). You can't upload Jing videos to YouTube. I also like Screen-Cast-O-Matic to create quick videos (max of 15 min). With Screen-Cast-O-Matic, you can create screen casts or webcam videos or picture-in-picture screencasts. |

I do use Screencast-O-Matic and recommend Office Mix if you use PowerPoints, but haven't used Snip much and Sway has a learning curve..other than Screencast-O-Matic, I really wonder how accessible these (and most) ed tech tools are..that seems to take a back burner...

I've given back "screencasted" feedback for complicated projects as well..there's so much more you can do vs writing or even leaving an audio file, and sometimes, you can improve on what you'd usually do "on the fly" face-to-face.. |
You can't create videos with all of these tools-but some are great tools for adding questions or annotating videos, too
