I ask students who have taken online courses before to share advice with the rest of the class-right from the start...they suggest scheduling apps, contacting the instructor as soon as you hit a roadblock, and setting aside a specific place and time to study.


I survey them and suggest sites for learning more about word, files, and computers, too.

I think this critical because often times Teachers are struggling thinking they can do everything including actual deployment of content.

A very well put together resource for why aesthetics matter. The best reason in my opinion is the first impression. If instruction is well designed visually, it would invite learner's to explore, participate, and take it seriously!

This article goes back to the main point of designing for the purpose of problem solving, not solely the purpose of a beautiful design. A well thought out design will guide the learner through the material and will stimulate a change in the learner.
