From the article: "Community colleges are the largest and fastest growing sector of U.S. higher education, providing a crucial gateway to four-year institutions and addressing today’s workforce needs. However, fewer than half of community college students complete their programs of study.

What was the result? "Almost all of the participants (96%) agreed that the College Success course content would be useful to them in other courses and would help them improve their academic skills." They even thought the course was interesting and would help their job prospects.
At our Community College, we now require all students to take our one credit College Success course, after finding that students who took the course were at least 30% more likely to stay in school. Although this won't be the second time I attend college, I think that this is still valuable advice. This is coming from people who have already been to college and serves as valuable advice to people who are both starting to go to college and are going to college a second time. I chose to curate this because I believe it is relevant to anybody going to college.
