It goes without saying that in order to promote 21st. Century learning, you need to develop specific habits. While metacognition (thinking about thought processes) is an important habit of the mind, there are others that are equally important, take for example, flexibitility of thinking, appreciating other people's point of view, learning to be patient, nor not reponding impulsively. For me as an educator, the emotive habits are equally important if we are to develop 21st century skills, it is not just about using technology, but it is also about learning to be more human and more humane!
