Gapminder is a great resource for maths teachers, giving students a new perspective on graphing. Creating graphs from raw data, it allows students to see how effective graphs can be to display a data-set. The teacher can select data from different countries, populations and can even select what year they want the data from.
This resource would be extremely handy in the classroom for a whole range of subject areas. Working in conjunction with the SAMR model and high level pedagogy.
Much appreciated Leigh for this scoop!
