Les Cahiers Droit, Sciences et Technologies sont une revue juridique créée en 2010 et destinée à l’analyse des normativités à l’œuvre dans les domaines scientifiques et techniques. Chaque exemplaire propose un dossier thématique, des articles et des chroniques permettant au lecteur de suivre l’actualité normative des sciences et des techniques mais aussi de saisir les logiques et méthodes qui sous-tendent leur encadrement. Dans un souci d’interdisciplinarité, la perspective juridique y est complétée par des regards d’économistes, de sociologues, de politistes, etc. Annuels jusqu’en 2018, les Cahiers Droit, Sciences et Technologies sont désormais semestriels. La notoriété des empreintes génétiques est née des succès incontestables de son utilisation en matière pénale. Cette réussite a justifié la création et l’extension systématique de fichiers d’empreintes génétiques. La preuve génétique n’est toutefois qu’une preuve indirecte qui doit s’articuler avec d’autres indices afin de construire un récit cohérent des évènements susceptible d’emporter la conviction du juge et des jurés. C’est alors le problème de la réception et de la mise en débat contradictoire de la preuve génétique qui se pose. Dans le cadre de ce dossier, les regards de professionnels de différents horizons ainsi que d’universitaires se croisent pour mieux appréhender les interrogations soulevées par le développement de la preuve génétique.
