Ukrainian television and radio stations are broadcast in the Czech Republic, and special websites are also in up and running.

The business community has donated over 4 million euros in money and products to help the Ukrainian people this week. Live on TVR1, in a special edition of Referendum, presented by Iuliana Tudor and Mihai Rădulescu, over 40 companies provided humanitarian materials and money to help people affected by the war in Ukraine. On Monday, March 28, at 21.10, TVR hosted the large humanitarian event, organized in partnership with the Romanian Red Cross, as part of the "Humanity Has No Borders" campaign, which the Red Cross has started since the beginning of the conflict in the neighboring country. During the special edition of Referendum, as well as in the period preceding it, the business community donated no less than 4.134.000 euros to the Romanian Red Cross, in money and products, to help the Ukrainian people.

Almost 2 million refugees fleeing Ukraine after Russia's invasion have already arrived in Poland. It's mostly women and children. Television and radio broadcasters are gradually introducing new content for those fleeing the war in their native language.
Telewizja Polska (TVP) is constantly expanding its offer dedicated to refugees from Ukraine. Since March 14, from Monday to Friday at 16.50 TVP1 has been airing the program Give Ukraine a Hand in Polish and Ukrainian. Refugees can learn from the program, among others what help has been prepared for them, i.e. how to enroll a child in school, find a doctor or apply for a PESEL number. Those who want to help them can find information on how to help effectively and what help is most needed at the moment.

A marathon broadcast by various Flemish media companies raised around €17.78 million for all aid organisations united under Consortium 12-12 which help people affected by the war in Ukraine.
The provisional total amount raised by Ukraine 12-12 will go to a group of seven aid organisations active on the ground and in Ukraine’s neighbouring countries, which will deploy the funds that have been collected where they are most needed. The American film company Paramount plans to suspend its activities in Russia and make a donation of $1 million for humanitarian assistance to victims of the war in Ukraine.
It is reported that the studio will first suspend the supply of Paramount Global content. TVP has developed Ukrainian language versions of two fairytale broadcast on the TVP ABC channel: Zagadki Zwieogromadki and the program Halo Halo! The broadcaster ensures that intensive work is underway on the preparation of new titles and makes special editions of its programs available to viewers.
With children and parents in Poland in mind, the broadcaster prepared broadcasts and programs devoted to the unique and difficult situation. Studio ABC, Conversations for Two, eMOCje and Moda na Rodzinie will soon answer difficult questions, taking care of the emotions of young and old viewers.
