The Common Core State Standards can be a little overwhelming if you look at them as a whole. In order to truly master the standards it is key that you have a plan of attack. Via Mel Riddile, Sharrock

Mel I thought this was cute but I couldn't go along with the Learn Ninja's second bullet: "take a quick look at the standards in the grades above and below." What do you think about a DEEPER look and pointed, thoughtful planning with teachers on either side of your grade level. That way, I think teachers get at what the standards intend for them to do. Just my two cents. PS: You're an amazing ScoopIteer! I appreciate your work. :)
