Business Analysis in the IT world.
One would think that this post is something out of this world that requires all sort of technical knowledge and mumbo jumbo. IIBA defines Business Analysis as: ‘Business Analysis is the practice of enabling change in an organizational context, by defining needs and recommending solutions that deliver value to stakeholders.’
In simpler terms, a Business Analyst is the link between the stakeholders and developers. His job will include taking the ideas of the business team and the stakeholders and translating it to the best of his capabilities to the development team so that a change is brought about.
A BA thus need not be an MBA and neither should he know the nitty gritties of Java. He just needs good communication skills and a drive to learn. He is supposed to stay in good terms with the users, the business and the developers.
We at Canvas teach you the tricks of the trade by making it as simple as possible. We are more than just selling IT services; we give you all the necessary tools and show you how to use them. the Business Software Management is one of those things. Our training is a step ahead of business management training because it is focused on how to become a BA. A person needn’t be a computer graduate to get a high paying, respectable job in the IT industry, they just need the right guidance.
