Galen University has awarded 10 scholarships to new students.  They had their Fall semester orientation on Saturday. Congratulations to the 10 students.  Do well and excel!


"Ten deserving Belizean students are the latest recipients of varying levels and types of scholarships offered at Galen University for the Fall 2014 semester.  At a scholarship agreement signing held at the University’s Central Farm Campus on August 25th and August 27th, 2014, the recipients were provided with the relevant guidelines, procedures, and academic expectations of Galen University.  Scholarships were awarded in four categories: Academic Excellence, Academic-Financial Need, Athletic, and Music.  One outstanding student was also awarded the Daniel Silva Academic-Financial Need Scholarship."

Feelgood news of the day to start September on a great note.  Galen University has awarded scholarships to 10 exemplary students.  Thanks, Galen!  Congratulations to all the students!

 

"A scholarship award ceremony was held on August 29, 2012 at the main campus at Galen University in Central Farm, Cayo District.  Ten new scholarships were announced at the ceremony, nine for Bachelor degrees (including one basketball scholarship) and one Master’s degree scholarship.  Students were awarded these scholarships based on their high academic achievements, their outstanding community service and financial need."

The MoPSCPR and Galen University, Belize have teamed up to create the George Price Scholarship for Public Officers.
 
 
"The Ministry of the Public Service, Constitutional and Political Reform, in collaboration with Galen University is pleased to announce the first-ever George Price Scholarship for Public Officers. 
We thank Galen University for this wonderful opportunity for public officers and also for honouring the Father of our Nation.

Galen University has announced 15 new scholarships for students that graduate from Cayo schools. The scholarships honor 3 Belizeans from Cayo: Dr. Jaime Awe, Don. Hector Silva, and Mr. Joseph Andrews. Thanks, Galen!

"To be eligible, applicants must reside or attend school in, or have graduated from a high school or junior college in the Western Cayo District and must be accepted into a Galen University undergraduate program. Scholarship recipients are expected to enroll full time for a maximum of two years or 70 credit hours. The purpose of the scholarship program is to offer students the opportunity to achieve their dreams and their goals. Galen continues to be committed to excellence in education to students and to adhering to the principles of sustainable development. Additional districts scholarships will be launched in January 2013 to further this commitment and to celebrate outstanding Belizean citizens."
