Kayla Conners insight:
I think this article is basically say that the study of music industry is very important . In every way it interesting how combat and climate crisis are very important. This article is very reliable to what’s going today.
Michele R Duncan's curator insight, February 21, 12:07 PM
In my opinion, this article relates to a big problem with industry carbon emissions. It show how bad carbon emissions exist in the music world and how they are trying to fix this problem. It was written by Jazz Monroe, an associate staff writer for Pitchfork on November 28, 2019. There are no dead links or updates with this article.
Jonathan Lee's curator insight, April 26, 5:08 PM
My opinion my opinion on this is that this could be good. This will give people in the music industry time to focus on there music and to reflect on how they are goin to bounce back and come out with a album that is going to skyrocket.
Amaj Jackson's curator insight, May 24, 9:14 PM
The pandemic has caused a ruckus for record labels and the whole industry, but it has given artists the time to focus on their contracts.

Kayla Conners insight:
Reading this article I get that artist can stop doing music and invest in movies and other stuff. And give back to the community. And the person that wrote this is very strong with their point of view.

I’m amazed how far 50 has come...
Tiffany S's curator insight, May 26, 2019 8:10 PM
I have known that "50 cent" Curtis Jackson was the original producer for the show Power. Learning now that he has signed as multi-series deal is major! Starting from music to owning is very influential and motivational. After reviewing this article from the website variety, it is an actual source for credibility of this article. This article is important resource for the audio industry because music can take you anywhere and it's known that the industry is important because "50 Cent" uses his own songs in his show.
Brandon Thorpe's curator insight, February 23, 3:54 PM
I am excited that the network and 50 cents has come to an agreement. A lot of people was upset that the show might not be airing no longer on Starzs. I think losing “Power” would have been a huge lost for Stars due to the fact that the show has 9.3 million viewers.

Kacey Musgraves Wins Big, Cardi B and Childish Gambino Make Hip-Hop History at 2019 Grammys

Kacey Musgraves Wins Big, Cardi B and Childish Gambino Make Hip-Hop History at 2019 Grammys | Audio industry | Scoop.it
Heading into the 2019 Grammys, the Recording Academy found itself in a precarious place. Last year, a dearth of women winners in televised categories inspired criticism in the form of the #GrammySoMale hashtag -- and outgoing Recording Academy president/CEO Neil Portnow only dug a deeper hole with his infamous comments about how women needed to “step up” if they wanted to see themselves better represented.

Kayla Conners insight:
My opinion with this article the new artists are changing the game in the music industry and getting more awards for the hip hop genre. And the writer Nolan Feeney gives you evidence of how they are working hard.
No comment yet.
