I previously reported that the ATR2100-USB microphone has been discontinued. There is good news. It's back as the ATR2100X-USB. Even better news is that it appears to be in stock in a lot of places. The supply has been low because of inventories being cleared out by people needing external microphones for Zoom and WebEx conferences. Unfortunately, the price has increased to $99. It's still a great buy, and I'm glad it's back, but remember that the Samson Q2U (when it is back in stock) is a little cheaper. Also remember that the ATR2100x-USB has a lifetime warranty. Since the USB jack is probably the most fragile part of the mic, the lifetime warranty can be a benefit, particularly at the higher price. I'm still a fan.
