As gas prices climb to an average of $4.316 per gallon in the U.S., and reach nearly $7 per gallon in parts of California, more people are searching for electric cars, according to Cars.com.

When Trump claimed in the recent debate that "I think I'm all for electric cars, I've given big incentives for electric cars, but what they've done in California is just crazy," I cracked up laughing at first.
