Some people believe that high school years are the best a few years of your life, and what you decide to do after that will probably be what you will do for the rest of your life, so choose wisely. You are given many options after high school such as university, apprenticeship, or collage. This article is about the success you can achieve by choosing collage as your post secondary education. Collages get you ready for your work place, the education although involves academic learning, it is focused mostly on hands on activities so you train while learning and also experience the field and the job you will be doing. Collages offer many programs, like apprenticeship, certificate programs that last a year or less, diplomas which range from two to three years and degrees which take three to four years. Post secondary education can be very expensive for an individual depending on their situation, all collages now offer OSAP and grants which will help you afford the education and also give you money for your education that you won’t have to pay back. An other pro about collage is that if you pick a certain program but later feel like it is not for you, you can easily switch your program or your can take bridge courses to convert you diploma to a degree.
