There are two points of view regarding this issue: the residents’ point of view and the anonymous painter himself. Firstly, parents see these street arts as ‘hellish and awful’, complaning that their children are having trouble sleeping due to this ‘terrifying sight’ outside their windows. On the other hand, the anonymous painter feels that he is merely just expressing his love for art and that there isn’t anything wrong with that. While it is true that the people in today’s world are less appreciative of abstract art, the artist should still take into consideration the concerns of the citizens. Perhaphs, the artist could take his art somewhere more secluded instead of on the walls of houses.

Seth is one of my favorite street arists, connecting Paris and Asia through his art. And he works in my neighborhood, on the Butte aux Caille.
