Early Naptime Win for Local Father

Early Naptime Win for Local Father | Working Momma | Scoop.it
COLORADO SPRINGS - An area father was able to put his daughter down for nap time 1.5 hours earlier than usual, in order to accommodate for an afternoon errand run. Sources say Matthew Stewart spent the morning discussing the earlier nap time with his daughter, so that she would be prepared.
"She went down, no problem!" exclaimed Stewart.
Other local parents are reported to have expressed their frustration with how easily young Eleanor goes to sleep.
"Those people are a bunch of A-holes," stated one area parent. Another, who would only go by the initials JN attempted a bit of parent one-upsmanship.
"I read somewhere online that putting your child down for a naptime early can lead to mental retardation and even future poverty. That's why my child goes down at the same time each day, after I breastfeed," touts JN.

In a pinch, local father Matthew Stewart converted some fruit snacks into makeshift ants for the purpose of his daughter's healthy lunch.
"We usually use cranberries," says Stewart, "but I couldn't find any in the cupboards. I had to think on my feet. I'm glad I was able to come up with something she enjoyed."
For his next feat, Stewart plans to try some other alterations to Eleanor's staple snacks. Such ventures will include Butter and Jelly, and cream cheese roll-ups.
