Businesses that become very successful, and are the envy of their peers, tend to have cultures which feature strong accountability. A common complaint of less successful business owners is the lack of accountability displayed by their employees. Overcoming a lack of accountability in any business requires a plan of attack, and the resolve to see it through. The tips in this article are as good as you will find anywhere, and if fully applied, should deliver the desired result.

Seller Take Backs Can Be A Useful Marketing Tool

Seller Take Backs Can Be A Useful Marketing Tool | Worcester County - Central MA Real Estate | Scoop.it
A seller take back loan means that you -- as the seller of real estate -- will deed the house to the buyer and instead of getting all cash, you will get some cash and the balance in a mortgage or deed of trust. Many sellers, when faced with the uncertainties in the real estate market, have found that a seller take back arrangement not only makes financial sense, but can be a good marketing tool to entice prospective purchasers to buy.

We are always looking for shortcuts when creating content and sharing stories. Well, here is a tried-and-true nifty way to tell a compelling story and simplify our content creation.

This article by Brian Clark at Copyblogger focuses on using the rule of 3. As he goes through the examples, they will be familiar to you and you'll say "Of course!"

In the busyness of everyday life however, it's easy to forget simple steps to take. So this is a great reminder, and it will help you shorten your story crafting and content making tasks.

Story on!

Jim Signorelli,Story-Lab's curator insight, September 16, 2015 10:25 AM

Well done article about the "rule of three "phenomena. Proves with examples how this rule works to  "pattern" information.  Brevity, memorability, and rhythm (my addition)  contribute to the rule of three's effectiveness in storytelling, as well as in any form of communication.

Imagine how less interesting the story would be if it merely contrasted Two Little Pigs.  Or how complex  the joke would be if it started out with "five guys walk into a bar."   There's just a certain magic with three.
